Community Service
Co-Chair: Audrey Kunkler, APEX Environmental,

Inc.,
The Community Service Committee coordinates activities with various
community service organizations, non-profit entities and community-minded
groups. The Committee organizes activities such as fundraisers,
training programs, and other events that highlight the needs of
these organizations.
Membership
Chair : Julie Weinberg Fishbein, The Michael T.

The Membership Committee brings new members into CREW Maryland Suburban.
The Committee members seek to build a membership that is diverse
in experience and profession with individuals who will actively
participate in the organization. The Committee is pro-active in
its recruitment of new members as well as the retention of CREW’s
existing members. Projects include membership renewals, the production
of the membership directory, tracking/follow-up of membership information
packages sent out, and monthly program greeting, nametag distribution,
and new member info package distribution to those interested prospective
members attending programs.
Past Presidents Advisory Committee

Ellis,
Past Presidents Advisory Committee meets a few times a year and
supports the Board of Directors by examining membership recruitment
and retention, outreach to former members and organizing new ideas
and business relationships to advance Maryland Suburban CREW.
Programs

Co-Chair: Gina Leib, Guardian Realty Management,
Inc. ,
The Programs Committee organizes 10 or more monthly meetings annually.
Current topics, dynamic speakers and the chance to feature women
in real estate results in programs, which stimulate, inform and
inspire our members and guests. Each year, the Programs Committee
brainstorms topics, speakers, and locations for meetings. Specific
tasks include developing the program idea, securing and briefing
speakers; determining the location, and providing succinct information
for preparing communication materials.
Public Relations
Board Liaison: Erica Leatham, Stark, Meyers &
Eisler, LLC,
The Public Relations Committee strives to promote the image and
reputation of CREW Maryland Suburban. The Committee members prepare
press releases of activities and notices of meetings to publicize
within the industry and community news media. The Committee arranges
for special publicity as and when appropriate at events and activities
coordinated by CREW Suburban Maryland. The Committee oversees the
website, community presence and works to highlight the successes
of individual CREW Maryland Suburban members’ professional
endeavors.
Sponsorship
Chair: Nancy Gunning, Chesapeake Resources,
The Sponsorship Committee solicits new sponsors for CREW Maryland
Suburban. The Committee members seek to build a sponsorship group
that supports the Chapter and the National Network. The Sponsorship
Committee prepares information for distribution to potential sponsors.
The Committee is pro-active in its follow-up to ensure sponsors
are listed on all program agendas, meeting boards, web sites, and
publications. The committee coordinates with National CREW to provide
information on sponsorships and funds raised.
