Community Service

Chapter members of Maryland Suburban CREW have taken an active role in supporting various service organizations and activities in the suburban Maryland area. These activities include:

  • Participate in the Women’s Build for Habitat for Humanity
  • Sponsoring a  scholarship to a young woman in the Johns Hopkins Real Estate Program
  • Contributing to CREW Foundation, the charitable arm of the CREW Network that focuses on helping women through contributions to organizations that assist and advance women of all ages

CREW Maryland Suburban has been a strong supporter and advocate for the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) since 1998, providing both monetary donations and hands-on volunteer help to the children and families served by NCCF’s programs.

New members can contribute to NCCF on the chapter membership application. Charter members take an active role in fundraising for NCCF, through the annual Art and Soul event, and Mother’s Day Gift Shop held every year. One of the chapter’s members also holds a seat on the Board at NCCF.
