for your interest in Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Maryland
Suburban. We are a part of the CREW National Network whose
mission is to advance the success of women in commercial real
estate. Our chapter is an active organization of nearly 60
professional women from all disciplines of commercial real
estate in Montgomery, Price George's and Frederick Counties.
I am proud to say that we have been in existence for almost
20 years and have become the association of choice for the
most successful women in our marketplace. CREW believes strongly
in networking, relationships, and women helping women in business!
Our members represent every aspect of the commercial
real estate industry; including law, brokerage, property management,
asset management, architecture, finance, acquisitions, development
and engineering. Almost half the women within CREW Maryland
Suburban are owners, principals or managers in their businesses,
creating high level contacts in every specialty. CREW Network
is the association of choice for the most successful women
in the commercial real estate industry. We exist to help our
members excel in the commercial real estate industry by providing
networking and business development opportunities, and professional
education. Our goal is to provide opportunities for women
in the real estate industry to meet each other - and do business
with each other - as well as providing opportunities for professional
development and information about real estate trends in suburban
Maryland. In addition, CREW Maryland works closely with the
CREW chapters in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia to provide
reciprocal member privileges at each chapter's events and
through CREW National Capital, the newly launched umbrella
organization for the three chapters.
As a member of CREW Maryland Suburban, you can get to
know a dynamic group of women in commercial real estate through
our monthly programs, trainings and meetings and the CREW
Network Regional and National conventions. As a member you
will also receive the CREW Maryland Suburban Membership Directory
and the CREW Network directory giving you contacts for over
7,000 members in 60 chapters nationwide and in Canada.
CREW members participate in various community service
projects and programs. It is just one way that we give back
to the community. Our founding members wanted to create a
network where successful women could exchange their knowledge,
contacts and project information. We believe we are living
up to that mission and we encourage you to consider becoming
part of this dynamic organization.
