Adrienne Bain is responsible for the prudent structuringand effective credit administration and risk managementof a diversified commercial real estate portfolio at Citizens Bank, N.A. Prior to her tenure at Citizens, Ms. Bain was a vice president at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., where she managed the comprehensive capital analysis and review (CCAR) submission of the bank's $110+ billion wholesale commercial real estate portfolio to the Federal Reserve.
Citizens Bank is one of the oldest and largest financial services firms in the United States with roots dating back to 1828. Headquartered in Providence, Rhode Island, Citizens offers a broad range of commercial banking and retail products and services to individuals, small businesses, middle-market companies, large corporations and institutions. It is the 13th largest retail bank in the United States.
Ms. Bain brings financial expertise and delivers innovative solutions to help sophisticated commercial real estate developers and investors successfully manage their assets. She boasts nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance with a particular focus on loan origination, debt structuring and underwriting, financial analysis and business development on a variety of property types, including office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, hospitality and multifamily.
In addition to her role at Citizens, Ms. Bain serves on the global CREW Network board of directors. She was selected as one of the region’s top 25 Women in Business by the Charlotte Business Journal, honored by The Mecklenburg Times as one of the region’s 50 Most Influential Women, named a Woman of Influence by Real Estate Forum, celebrated by ATHENA International as a Corporate Leadership award honoree,recognized as a Top Woman by Business Todayand chosen as a Women’s History Leadership award recipient by Career Mastered. Sheis a co-founder and principal of B Squared Group, a commercial real estate investment, developmentand management firm based in St.Louis, MOand previously served on the boards for CREW Charlotte, CREW St. Louis, the St. Louis Corporate Volunteer Council and the United Way of Greater St. Louis' Volunteer Center.
Ms. Bain received undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Missouri at Columbia and earned a Master’s degree in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She currently resides in Cornelius, NC with her husband and vizslador.
